Terms of Legal Services Purchase
Element Law Group, PLLC · Last updated 24 August 2026
What you are purchasing. You are purchasing one specific, defined piece of legal work from Element Law Group, PLLC, at the price shown. You are not purchasing ongoing representation and you are not putting us on retainer.
Montana only. We are licensed in Montana. Purchase only if your matter arises in Montana or will be handled in a Montana court. Where you live matters less than where your case is. If you are not sure, call before you buy.
We are your attorneys for this piece of work, and only this piece. Purchasing a package creates an attorney-client relationship limited to the work described on that package's page. It does not cover anything else, and it does not cover court appearances unless the package says so.
That relationship ends when the work is delivered. When we deliver what you bought, the engagement is complete and we stop being your attorneys. We are not on call afterwards. We are not watching your deadlines, your mail or your case. We will not tell you when something changes in the law or in your matter, because we are no longer acting for you. If you need something else later, that is a new engagement, at a new price, and it starts the same way this one did.
Nothing starts until you sign a fee agreement. After your purchase is completed, we run a conflict check and email you a fee agreement to sign electronically. It sets out exactly what we will do, what we will not do, and when the fee is earned. No work begins until it is signed. Signing electronically is legally effective in Montana under §30-18-106, MCA.
Seven days to sign. If you do not sign within seven calendar days of the date we send the agreement, the engagement does not go ahead, we do no work, and we refund you. If you need more time, just contact us and we will accommodate that.
Conflicts. Before we start on your matter, we will check whether we act or have acted for someone on the other side. If there is a conflict, we cannot work for you. We will tell you, and we will refund you. We cannot tell you who the conflict is with.
Your money stays yours until the work is delivered. Your payment goes into Element Law Group's client trust account. It stays there, as your money, until we deliver the work you bought. Only then is the fee earned by us and only then does it become ours. If the engagement ends before delivery for any reason, the fee comes back to you, minus any fees earned or costs incurred.
Refunds. We refund if you do not sign the fee agreement in time, if a conflict stops us acting, or if we decline the work. Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from.
The card payment processor charges us a fee at the moment you pay, and that fee is not returned to us when a refund is issued. It is a cost of paying by card and it is incurred whether we complete the work or not. A refund is therefore the full amount you paid, less that processing cost. For example, a $299 package carries a $8.97 processing fee. Everything else comes back to you.
Purchasing this does not protect a deadline. Court deadlines do not stop because you bought something. If you have been served, if you have a hearing, or if you have a filing due, call or text 406-546-4273 before you buy. We have not looked at your case and we do not know your dates. Nothing about this purchase extends, tolls or preserves any deadline.
Do not send us the details yet. Please do not put facts about your case, the other side's name, or anything confidential in the checkout form or the payment description. Send that after we have run the conflict check and asked for it. Information you give us before then can create obligations that stop us acting for you, which helps neither of us.
Buy ONLY for yourself. Buy only if you are the person who needs the work and you are at least 18. If you want to pay for someone else's legal work, call first. Montana's rules require the client's consent before we can take payment from anyone else, and require that whoever pays does not direct the work or see the client's confidential information.
We may decline. We can decline any purchase for any lawful reason, including a conflict, the subject matter, or capacity. If we decline, you will receive a refund on the terms above.
No promises about outcome. Nothing on this website is a guarantee, a warranty or a prediction about the result in your matter. Prices reflect the work we do, not the outcome you get.
This website is not legal advice. The pages, the packages and the quiz are general information. They are not advice about your situation, and reading them does not make you a client.
Prices and packages change. The price you paid is the price for the work described when you bought it. We may change prices and packages at any time for future purchases.
Questions before you buy. Call or text 406-546-4273, or email admin@elementlawgroup.com. There is no charge for asking whether a package is the right one.
